Ailsa and Dan had been working hard, revising for their GCSEs. They decided that they had earned a day off, so they went canoeing. Dan's dad gave them a lift to Pangbourne.

You will need to use the Reading map extract at the back of your Get That Grade! book.

1	They put their canoes in the river by the bridge in Pangbourne.
	Give a 4-figure grid reference for the main part of Pangbourne village.

2	They started to paddle along the Thames in an easterly direction.
